J-CARD FUNCTIONALITY FOR FACULTY AND STAFF AT THE HOMEWOOD DIVISIONS LOCATED AT THE DOWNTOWN CENTER, THE COLUMBIA CENTER, THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY CENTER, OR THE DC CENTER



Use your J-CARD at MSEL for:

  • Access
  • To borrow books
  • Debit card photocopying (personal accounts or departmental accounts)


Use your J-CARD at the Downtown Center, Columbia Center, Montgomery County Center, and DC Center libraries for:

  • Access
  • To borrow books


Use your J-CARD at all JHU campus locations for:

  • Identification
  • Debit card network laser printing (personal accounts or departmental accounts)


Disclosure Statement

The information stored on the J-CARD and in the card access database-- including your photo image, if applicable-- is for the exclusive use of Johns Hopkins University for identification and access privileges to campus services and/or events, and will not be used for any commercial purpose. The information retained by the card system is the same as is stored by the University in its Student Information Data Base and/or its Parking System data base, and will not be used for any purpose which would infringe upon the privacy rights of individuals. The card is non transferable. The card shall remain the property of Johns Hopkins University, which reserves the right to cancel the access privileges of the person named. The cardholder agrees to return this card to the University upon request. If this card is presented after cancellation, the University reserves the right to keep it.
