Lost Cards
REPORT THE LOSS During business hours (8:30am - 4pm, M-F):
Immediately report the loss to the Office of ID Card Services
(410-516-5121). We will temporarily suspend the use of your card
so that your accounts cannot be accessed.
After business hours (5pm - 8:30am, M-F; weekends; holidays):
Immediately report the loss to the Office of Security (410-516-4600).
We will temporarily suspend the use of your card so that your accounts
cannot be accessed.
GET A REPLACEMENT CARD
Go in person to the Office of ID Card Services in Garland Hall basement, room 51
(window hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm, M-F). The cost is $15. You will not
need to take a new photo. The entire process will take about 10
minutes.
What if I've called to report a lost card and then I find it before
I get a new card?
Your card will be reactivated. You must go in person to the Office
of ID Card Services in Garland Hall basement, room 51 to do this. For your protection,
cards cannot be reactivated by phone.
What if I report a lost card, am issued a new card, and then I
find the one I lost?
Throw the old card away! At your request, the code number has been
changed and the old card is not valid any longer. It is not possible
within the system to reactivate a card once it has been reported
missing. And because a new card has been issued, a refund cannot
be made, even if the old card is found.
